Reason for Recommendation: On an annual basis the District Attorney's Office brings forth an application to participate in CalEMA grant programs. As part of the application process both the District Attorney and Board Chair sign a certification stating that the District Attorney is authorized to sign the Grant Award Agreement. During a recent site visit CalEMA requested that the department also have a resolution on file for all CalEMA programs.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Resolution to be signed by Board Chair and forwarded to the department.
