Supervisor Briggs requesting Board adopt attached Resolution in support of Proposition 22, an Initiative Constitutional Amendment that proposes to prohibit the State from borrowing or taking funds used for transportation, redevelopment, or local government projects and services.  Proposition 22 will be considered by the voters as part of the California General Election on Tuesday, November 2, 2010.
 
Upon adoption, Supervisor Briggs requests that copies of the Resolution in support of Proposition 22 be provided to Assemblyman Ted Gaines, Assemblywoman Alyson Huber, the office of the First Senate District (Senator Dave Cox), the Regional Council of Rural Counties, and the California State Association of Counties.
