Supervisor Santiago recommending the Board authorize the Chair to sign the Housing and Urban Development Communities Regional Planning Grant Program Letter of Support and Commitment for the Lake Tahoe Region.

Five jurisdictions have worked together to create a Lake Tahoe Basin-wide grant application. Attached is a letter of commitment that reflects what the county has already committed to accomplish through the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency under the Capital Improvement Projects plan with the addition of tracking the results and the commitment of $12,500 per year for two years of in-kind services which would involve participation by Development Services Department and the Department of Transportation for work on the Meyers Community Plan.
