Clerk of the Board of Supervisors recommending the Board consider the adoption of the revised 2011 Board of Supervisors' schedule of meeting dates with the following changes to the budget workshop schedule as June 6, 7, and 8 and September 19 and 20 for the budget hearings. (Refer 12/7/10, Item 10)

On December 7, 2010 the Board approved the revised calendar, however is retrospect it is recomended that the budget meetings be held on consecutive days both in June and in September. This changes would schedule the budget workshops for June 6th, 7th, and 8th and the budget hearings for September 19th and 20th.
History
The Board approved the schedule of meeting date on November 15, 2010 requesting that the calendar also show the Budget Hearing dates as well as the Workshop dates. In putting this together I noticed a couple of changes that need to be made in order to assure that the Board is not dark for more than 2 weeks in a row. The Board will meet on December 20th since there will be no hearings on December 27, 2011 nor January 3, 2012. The Budget workshops are scheduled for the first week in June on June 6th, 8th and 9th and the Budget hearings will be on September 19th and 21st. It was also decided that the Board would not have a regularly scheduled meeting on June 7th and September 20th during Budget hearings.
