Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:  No fiscal impact or net county cost.
 
Background: The Cameron Park "Run With Santa" Event, sponsored by the Cameron Park Community Services District (CSD) is a 5K charity fun run benefiting the Fire Department Youth Explorers, and will start and finish at the CSD office, 2502 Country Club Drive.  The requested road closures are for the safety of the participants and volunteers during the event.
 
Reason for Recommendation:  The Department of Transportation is recommending Board approval of the closure to allow for the safety and success of this community event.  Other involved agencies have made no objections to this closure.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1.      The Board Clerk to obtain the Chair's signature on the Resolution.
2.      The Board Clerk to send a fully executed copy of the Resolution to the
      Department of Transportation.
3.      The roads listed in the Resolution will be closed from 6:00 a.m. until
      9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010, for the Cameron Park "Run with Santa" Event.
