Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: The District Attorney's Office will receive the funds paid by the retiring employee.
Reason for Recommendation: District Attorney Investigator, Timothy Mazzoni, will be retiring through the Early Retirement Incentive Program and desires to buy his duty weapon for replacement value. The weapon would normally be used as a trade-in. The weapon is as follows with a quoted resale value by Newtown Firearms: Glock 23, serial number EWL915US, value of $200.00. Legal transfer of ownership will be done through Newtown Firearms at no cost to the county.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Upon approval of the recommendation, the District Attorney's office will process the necessary suprlus
