Fiscal Impact/ Change to Net County Cost: No fiscal impact or net county cost.
Background: The “Show Love Fun Run” is an event sponsored by the Church of the Foothills and is a 5K Run / Fundraiser for a family in their congregation to adopt an Ethiopian orphan. Requested road closures are for the safety of the participants, children, volunteers, and spectators along the course.
Reason for Recommendation: The Department of Transportation is recommending Board approval of the closure to allow for the safety and success of this community event. Other involved agencies have made no objections to this closure.
