Reason for Recommendation: The results of the votes cast at the Senate District 1 Special General Election held January 4, 2011 were certified by the Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters on January 11, 2011, and are submitted herewith for your approval. Elections Code section 15400 states that the governing Board shall declare the results of each election held under its jurisdiction.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Return a signed minute order to the Elections Division.
