REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: On January 27, 2009, item #23 Board of Supervisors approved bid #09-405-061 for the purchase of propane gas for the West Slope of El Dorado County in the amount of $600,000.00 for a two year period, expiring on January 31, 2011. This bid has a provision to extend for one additional year at the same pricing, terms and conditions if mutually agreed between the County and the awarded vendor. It should be noted that this BP extension is retroactive to January 31, 2011. Due to a glitch in the Purchase Order reporting system, staff thought the BP expired in March. The system has been re-programmed to correct this bug.

FISCAL IMPACT/CHANGE TO NET COUNTY COST: Procurement and Contracts has been advised that funding is available within the various Departments' budgets.
