Chapter 7 of Health; Safety Code 8950 "POWERS". District shall be governed and managed by three or five trustees, as specified in the petition for the formation.
Membership: Trustees shall hold office four years or until the appointment and qualifications of their successors and shall be appointed from the electors residing within the district. Trustees serve without compensation; but the necessary expenses for travelling in connection with meetings shall be paid.
