On August 16, 2011 the Board of Supervisors considered the Initial Draft Response to the Grand Jury Final Report. The Board directed that the responses to Findings 2 and 3 in the "Consent Calendar" report should be changed to "The respondent agrees with the finding." Those changes have been incorporated into the Final Draft Response.
The Grand Jury has been notified of the date and time of this agenda item.
Reason for Recommendation: The Penal Code deadline for responding to the Grand Jury Final Report is September 19, 2011.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Per Board Policy A-11, the Chief Administrative Office will provide the response to the Presiding Judge, the current Grand Jury and all county libraries.
