This is a historical year for South Tahoe High School.
With the support of bond funds, grants and donations, South Tahoe High School celebrates the grand opening of the Tahoe Arts and Design Academy (TADA), the Blue and Gold Gyms renovation, and a new Viking Stadium for physical education programs in the daytime and lights for athletic programs in the afternoons and evenings. Also opened are two award-winning, state-of-the-art facilities: the Construction, Arts and Transportation building, and the Stadium View building. These new facilities, equipped with the latest in interactive classroom technology, provide students with a variety of innovative and dynamic Career Technical Education courses in Architectural Design, Business, Construction, Culinary Arts, Dental, Environmental Sciences, Studio Arts, and Transportation.
