Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:  The Sheriff's Office Armory will receive the funds paid by the retired employee.
 
Reason for Recommendation: Deputy Bradley Tibbs recently retired from the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office and desires to purchase his service weapon .  The Sheriff Department's policy allows for a retiring officer to purchase his or her current-issue duty weapon at replacement cost.  Deputy Tibbs will provide payment in the amount of $409.00 plus tax.
 
The weapon requested to be declared as surplus is:
 
Glock .22, Serial #EEX222
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  Upon approval of the recommendation, the Sheriff's Office shall process payment and related documents.
