Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:  No fiscal impact or net county cost.
 
Background: The Second Annual - 2011 Cameron Park "Run With Santa" event is being co-sponsored by the Cameron Park Community Services District (CSD) and Scenario Communications, and is a 5K charity fun run.  The event will start and finish at the CSD office, which is located at 2502 Country Club Drive.  
 
The requested road closures are for the safety of the participants and volunteers during the event.
 
Reason for Recommendation:  The Department of Transportation is recommending Board approval of the closure to allow for the safety and success of this community event.  Other involved agencies have made no objections to this closure.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1.      The Clerk of the Board to obtain the Chair's signature on the Resolution.
2.      The Clerk of the Board to send a fully executed copy of the Resolution to
       the Department of Transportation.
3.      The roads listed in the Resolution will be closed from 7:30 a.m. until
      9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011, for the Second Annual -
      2011 Cameron Park "Run with Santa" event.
