Chief Administrative Office, Facilities Division, recommending the Board:
1) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute Agreement for Services 6548 with Pro-Line Cleaning Services, Inc. for a not-to-exceed amount of $307,152 and a term of three years to provide routine janitorial services at the Public Safety Facility;
2) Make findings pursuant to Ordinance Code, Section 3.13.030(a), El Dorado County Charter, Section 210(b)(6) and/or Government Code Section 31000 that such services provided by the Contractor are in the public's best interest, and the work can be more economically and feasibly performed by an independent contractor than County employees; and
3) Authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute any necessary amendments relating to Agreement for Services 6548, excluding term extensions and increases to the not-to-exceed amount, contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Pro-Line Cleaning Services, Inc. has been servicing the Public Safety Facility since 2019 to the satisfaction of the Sheriff’s Office in regards to both the levels of service and background checks of Pro-Line employees.
Agreement for Services 6548 would provide for three additional years of service (July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025) for the Administration Building, Special Operations and Morgue facilities and a not-to-exceed amount of $307,152. Year one costs are $97,932 and increase approximately 5% in years two and three. Services are broken down into daily, weekly, semi-weekly and monthly tasks.
It is further recommended the Board make findings pursuant to Ordinance Code, Section 3.13.030(a), El Dorado County Charter, Section 210(b)(6) and/or Government Code Section 31000 that such services provided by Contractor are in the public's best interest, and the work can be more economically and feasibly performed by an independent contractor than County employees

FINANCIAL IMPACT
