Supervisor Novasel, based upon the recommendation of the First 5 El Dorado Children and Families Commission, recommending the Board make the following appointments to the First 5 El Dorado Children and Families Commission:
Reappoint Ed Manansala, Education Representative, Term Expiration 02/05/2022; and
Appoint Don Semon, El Dorado County Health Officer, Term Expiration 02/05/2022.

The El Dorado Office of Education Superintendent's Council made a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors to reappoint Dr. Ed Manansala, Education Representative, to the First 5 El Dorado Children and Families Commission.
The current Director of Health and Human Services is retiring and Don Semon has been appointed by the Board of Supervisors to replace her. She is currently the El Dorado County Health Officer on First 5 El Dorado Children and Families Commission. Don Semon attended the First 5 El Dorado Children and Families Commission meeting on January 14, 2019 and expressed his interest in joining First 5 El Dorado Children and Families Commission as the El Dorado County Health Officer and the Commission made the recommendation to appoint him as the representative.
