The Shingle Springs Tribal Health Program was established in 1995 to serve both Native American and non-Native American patients. The program is one of only a few in the country to care for the underserved Medi-Cal and Medicare populations.
In October 2011, the Shingle Springs Health & Wellness Center opened on the Shingle Springs Rancheria offering a wide range of services, including pediatrics, primary care, dental, behavioral health and other specialties and accepts most major health insurance plans.
