DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
An open, competitive recruitment was held to fill the vacant position of Director of Health and Human Services Agency, yielding Olivia Byron-Cooper as the top candidate.
The recommendation is that Olivia Byron-Cooper be appointed to Step 5 of the salary range, as Director of Health and Human Services Agency, along with benefits and compensation per Section 5 of the Salary and Benefits Resolution for Unrepresented Employees. Ms. Byron-Cooper is currently at Step 4 of the salary range as Interim Director of Health and Human Services. The recommendation for Step 5 is pursuant to Section 508 of the Salary and Benefits Resolution for Unrepresented Employees.

If not approved the Board will be required to consider other candidates or conduct another recruitment for the position of Director of Health and Human Services Agency.
