The Contract with White Rock Construction, Inc. for the Apalachee Phase 3B.1 Erosion Control Project (Project) was executed by the Board on June 23, 2009.  The Project was completed on September 21, 2009.
 
Recordation of the Notice of Acceptance for the project will start legal and contractual time frames for guarantees and the stop notice filing period, among other things.  The estimated total cost of this Project is listed below:

Estimated Construction Contract Item Cost            $208,605.75
Estimated Contract Change Orders                  $  10,549.91
Estimated Final Cost of Construction Contract            $219,155.66
 
Major contract change orders on this Project dealt with modifying drainage improvements due to underground utility conflict, additional humus material for revegetation efforts, importing fill material, additional revegetation materials, temporary erosion control, and driveway paving.
 
The direct construction budget for this Project, as reflected in the Department's FY 2009/2010 approved budget, was $225,185.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1)  The Chairman will sign the Notice of Acceptance.
2)  The Board Clerk will send the Notice of Acceptance to the Recorder/Clerk's Office for recordation and forward a copy of the recorded Notice of Acceptance to the Department.
