DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On March 28, 2016, the Facilities Division was notified by letter from the El Dorado Irrigation District of their intent to surplus land within the County's jurisdictional boundaries pursuant to California Government Code sections 54220-54233. The surplus property is located in the Placerville area; APNs # 048-192-01-100 and 096-020-30-100.
Both parcels are located in residential neighborhoods and after review by Parks, Transportation and District III (the District in which these parcels reside) there is no useful purpose for purchasing or leasing either parcel.
The window to accept the offer terminates on approximately May 26, 2016.

The Board may decided to purchase or lease this propery but a use and funding source would need to be identified.
