On January 27, 2014, the Board approved site selection criteria for a new Sheriff's Office Headquarters and directed the Department to return on February 11, 2014 with a list of potential properties that met the selection criteria. Chief Administrative Office, Facilities Division and the Sheriff's Department, recommending the Board continue this item until staff complete the Conflict of Interest Survey and Expanded Site Criteria list. Reason for Recommendation
County Staff are still developing and evaluating the expanded site selection criteria along with performing the various due diligence tasks that are required. Therefore a list of potential properties will not be ready until these steps have been completed. Staff will return with the list of potential properties at the earliest Board date available upon completion of evaluation and due diligence.
