Reason for Recommendation:
The California Department of Aging requires an annual report that provides an account of progress made during the previous fiscal year toward goals specified in the 2005-09 Area Plan for Senior Services and annual updates. FY 2007-08 represents the third year of the four-year Plan, and the report reflects significant continuing progress toward achieving goals for improving services to seniors in the County. This report has been reviewed and input has been provided by the El Dorado County Commission on Aging, advisory council to the Area Agency on Aging.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
Board Clerk to provide Human Services at Briw Road, with two (2) signed copies of the 2007-08 Area Plan Year-End Report Transmittal Letter.
Human Services to submit the Fiscal Year 2007-08 Area Plan Year-End Report to the California Department of Aging.
