Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
The total construction cost associated with the proposed PG&E relocation work is estimated at $20,000. PG&E shall be responsible for fifty percent (50%) of the construction costs associated with the underground utility relocation work in the amount of $12,000 (AGMT 12-53437). The County is responsible for fifty percent (50%) of the construction costs associated with the underground utility relocation work in the amount of $12,000 and for one hundred percent (100%) of the construction costs associated with the overhead utility relocation work in the amount of $8,000 (AGMT 12-53438) and will be funded by the State Corridor Mobility Investment Account (CMIA) funds and Local Transportation funds.

Background:
On January 20, 2012, the El Dorado County Transportation Commission (EDCTC) proposed to the California Transportation Commission (CTC) and Caltrans that the U.S. 50 El Dorado Hills Interchange - Phase 2B.1 (AKA HOV Phase 0) Project (Project) construction be allocated $15,500,000 in CMIA.
