Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There is no Net County Cost associated with this Agreement. This Amendment was anticipated and included in the appropriations for Health Services budget.

Background: Ryan White CARE Act funding provides access to ambulatory medical care, medical case management and emergency intervention for individuals living with HIV and/or AIDS. Specific care services include, but are not limited to, specialty outpatient medical diagnosis and treatment, skilled nursing intervention, medication access/management, and medically necessary nutrition intervention to include direct food purchases.

Funding is received by HHSA through an agreement with the County of Sacramento (fiscal agent for the Ryan White CARE Act Title I Federal funding) for the specific purpose of providing services as outlined above.

Compensation for Services: Monthly itemized invoices submitted for allowable expenses are paid within forty-five (45) days of receipt and approval.
