Reason for Recommendation
On October 16, 2012 Item #6, the Board authorized the Purchasing Agent to Award Bid #13204-012, issue a blanket purchase order, and increase the Blanket Purchase Order (BP20130229) on an "as needed" basis as long as funding is available for Computers: Desktops, Laptops, Monitors and Related Items. There were no changes to any of the computer specifications, all bid prices, terms and conditions remain unchanged, as such it is more cost effective to extend the bid with the current vendor (EDC Systems) then to rebid.

Following Board approval, the Procurement and Contracts Division will extend the blanket Purchase Order (BP20130229) for one additional four (4) month and twelve (12) day award period, through June 30, 2013, to EDC Systems of Lafayette, CA
