Elections Department recommending the Board:
1) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 020-2016 to place a measure entitled: "An Initiative Measure Relating to El Dorado County Land Use Policies and Zoning" on the ballot to be submitted to the voters at the Consolidated Presidential Primary Election to be conducted on June 7, 2016, in accordance with Elections Code section 9118(b); and
2) Establish the ballot question for the measure.

DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
The Board approve and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 020-2016 placing the initiative measure on the June 7, 2016 election and establish the ballot question for the measure.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Pursuant to Elections Code section 9115(f) the Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters certified the results of an initiative petition entitled: "An Initiative Measure Relating to El Dorado County Land Use Policies and Zoning", refered to by the petitioners as "An Initiative to retain El Dorado County's current zoning and rural assets".
The Board ordered the initiative measure to be placed on the next statewide election to be held June 7, 2016.
This resolution repeats that order plus establishes the language for the ballot question.
