FUNDING: Mental Health Service Act

Body

Reason for recommendation: At the request of the Mental Health Department, the Procurement and Contracts Division issued a Request for Proposal for MHSA Family-Centered Services Program for both the Western Slope and the South Lake Tahoe regions. The qualified respondents are New Morning Youth and Family Services, Inc. of Placerville, CA for the Western Slope region and Tahoe Youth and Family Services of South Lake Tahoe, CA for the South Lake Tahoe region.

The Mental Health Department is currently in negotiations with New Morning Youth & Family Services, Inc. to finalize their agreement for the Western Slope services, however, the agreement with Tahoe Youth and Family Services for the SLT Region has been finalized and is therefore being brought before your Board at this time for award, approval and authorization for the Purchasing Agent to execute. Procurement and Contracts will return to your Board for award of the RFP for Western Slope services at a later date.
