Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
The contract is funded from sources appropriate to each Task Order. For example, review of development proposals is charged to developers, signal design work is funded as part of the applicable specific project (e.g. impact fees), and work related to General Plan implementation is funded from the Road Fund. The Department has sufficient revenues budgeted for Task Orders issued to date on this contract, and will confirm available funding with the issuance of all new Task Orders. There is no cost to the County General Fund.

Background:
On February 15, 2005 the Board approved Agreement for Services AGMT 04-721 with Fehr & Peers Associates, Inc. to provide traffic engineering services associated with transportation planning, development review and signal review on an “as-needed” basis for a period of two years with a not-to-exceed amount of $300,000.
