Background:
Since 1992, the County of El Dorado has maintained a contractual arrangement with the County of Sacramento for the exchange of confidential criminal offender record information, and other criminal justice information between the criminal justice agencies of both counties. This contract must be renegotiated annually.

Reason for Recommendation:
The information obtained through this resource is vital to criminal justice agencies.

Action to be taken following Board approval:
1) Board Clerk shall forward one original copy of fully executed agreement to IT
2) Authorize Purchasing Agent to encumber funds for this contract
3) IT shall forward original agreement to Sacramento County with letter to proceed.
