Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:

This Agreement is for a not-to-exceed amount of $80,000. There is no cost to the County's General Fund.

Reason for Recommendation:

The Department requires specialized professional aerial flight photography services in support of West Slope CIP projects. The highly technical elements associated with these CIP projects require knowledgeable staff trained in topographic mapping and aerial data manipulation, as well as specialized equipment, exclusive to aerial flight photography and mapping. Neither the qualified staff, nor the requisite equipment is identified in County classifications or available assets.

Radman Aerial Surveys, Inc. participated in the Department of Transportation’s 2007 Request for Qualifications. Consultant’s submittal was reviewed by a panel of qualified staff and external review was performed by the Deputy Surveyor, El Dorado County.
