Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA), Behavioral Health Division, recommends the Board approve and authorize the Chair to sign a Proclamation recognizing May 2017 as “Mental Health Month” in El Dorado County.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The month of May has historically been named “Mental Health Month” both nationally and in the State of California. Since 2009, the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors has approved a Proclamation naming May as “Mental Health Month.”

The Board could choose to not approve the Proclamation naming May as “Mental Health Month.”
