DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The 2017-2018 Grand Jury published several individual Final Reports on various subjects in June, and the Board of Supervisors received the consolidated Final Report on June 20, 2018. Under the California Penal Code, sections 933 et. sec., the Board of Supervisors must provide a response to the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court within 90 days of the date that a Final Report is made available to the public. The attached draft responses have been prepared in the form prescribed by Penal Code section 933.05 and address the findings and recommendations of the Grand Jury which are under the jurisdiction of the Board of Supervisors.

The Final Response to the 2017-2018 Grand Jury Report will be submitted to the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court prior to September 20, 2018, and will be published on the County's website.
