DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Pursuant to Government Code Section 66908.3, the California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC) is authorized to lease acquired lands. When such lands are within El Dorado County and are leased to private individuals or groups, the CTC must transfer 25 percent of the gross income of the leases to the County each year. Pursuant to the Budget Act of 2018, Chapter 29/18, the California State Legislature has appropriated $3,710 to the CTC for transfer to the County as private lease revenue for this fiscal year. At least 50 percent of this amount is to be used for erosion control projects in the South Lake Tahoe region, as defined in Government Code Section 66905.5. Transportation will allocate the entire $3,710 to erosion control projects.

California Standard Agreement CTA 18 013 (Agreement) requires that the County sign the Contractor Certification Clause CCC 04/2017 (Certification) regarding non-discrimination, drug-free workplace requirements, and other provisions for which certification is required when doing business with the State of California. The County's current practices are consistent with these requisites.
