Surveyor's Office recommending the Board:
1) Acknowledge and consent to an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for Road Right of Way, Landscape and Public Service Easement on Assessor’s Parcel Number 119-100-011; and
2) Authorize the Chair to sign the Consent to Offer of Dedication for Road Right of Way, Landscape and Public Service Easement and to record the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication with the Consent attached. Authorization for recording said Offer is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Surveyor's Office received an application from Buckeye Union Elementary School District, a political subdivision of the State of California, for an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for Road Right of Way, Landscape and Public Service Easement (IOD) on Assessor’s Parcel Number 119-100-011, and being more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Exhibits. This dedication is to remain in effect and run with the land until such time as the Board of Supervisors makes a finding of necessity for public purposes and accepts said offer by resolution. Said dedication is in support of the Bass Lake Hills Specific Plan.
ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not accept the IOD. By utilizing this alternative, the County or developers would be unable to meet improvement obligations of the Bass Lake Hills Specific Plan.

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
The Department of Transportation has reviewed said IOD and supports the consent to the making of this Irrevocable Offer of Dedication.
