DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
El Dorado County has contracted with Granicus, Inc., now operating as Granicus, LLC, to provide an integrated agenda workflow system entitled "Legistar" for the generation and maintenance of agenda documentation for use by the Board of Supervisors, various County departments, commissions, & committees, and the public since November 2007.
Amendment IV incorporates the following changes to the existing contract:
Article VI: Assignment and Delegation from Granicus, Inc. to Granicus, LLC.
Article I: Scope of Services for Granicus Software (Legistar Open Platform & Government Transparency Suites), Professional Services, and Managed Services as outlined in the Revised Granicus Proposal
Article III: Compensation for Services updating services as amended in the revised proposal, and limiting increases for each annual performance period to an amount no more than 5% per year
Article VII: Independent Consultant/Liability updated language
Article IX: Default, Termination, and Cancellation updated language
A copy of Amendment IV and the Revised Granicus Proposal is attached.
This amendment brings the charges for Legistar and Government Transparency Suite into the same billing cycle with a not-to-exceed proposed solution cost that covers Legistar Open Platform and the Government Transparency Suite from 10/01/20 through 06/30/23 is $78,638.68. The performance period amounts are indicative of a net 5% increase over the prior billing period.
ALTERNATIVES
If the Board does not approve agreement 529, Amendment IV, Information Technologies will be unable to continue providing Legistar agenda documentation for the Board of Supervisors.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no change to net county cost. Sufficient appropriations are included in the Information Technologies Department Adopted Budget for 2020-21 and will be included in future budgets.
