DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A request has been submitted by Treviso Ridgeview 7, LLC, a California Limited Liability Company, owner of Assessor's Parcel Number 120-720-004, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate drainage and ingress/egress easements located on said property. Subject easements are more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.

The drainage and ingress/egress easements, as shown on Lot 4 of Ridgeview West Unit No. 5, recorded in Book J at Page 150, were offered to the County of El Dorado by Ridgeview Homes West LLC, A California Limited Liability Company, on August 11, 2016. The easements were acknowledged by the County of El Dorado on October 11, 2016, and the Subdivision Map was recorded on October 13, 2016.

ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not adopt a Resolution of Vacation for Abandonment of Easement 20-0006. By utilizing this alternative, the owner of Assessor's Parcel 120-720-004 would be unable to pursue any development that would impact subject easements.

PRIOR BOARD ACTION

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
El Dorado County Department of Transportation has not used said portion of subject easements for the purpose for which they were dedicated and find no present or future need exists for said portion of subject easements and do not object to their vacation, and to that end, have issued a letter to that effect.
