DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

The Board completed Budget hearings on June 7, 2022. The  budget for the Public Housing Authority is recommended at $4,874,325. Though a separate Board action is required to adopt this budget, the program is managed under the Health and Human Services Agency and the budget is included in the County's Recommended and Recommended Adopted Budget documents. The changes to the Public Housing Authority budget include adjustments to fund balance as a result of the close of the financial records and a $200,000 increase in federal funding for leases and lease costs. These are included in the Recommended Adopted Budget document in Legistar file 22-1686.
