DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
At the October 9, 2023 First 5 El Dorado Commission meeting, the Commission received a presentation and adopted the 2022-23 Strategic Plan Evaluation Report. The Report included data that shows the value of services provided by the Hubs to our communities. The Commissioners discussed the report and there was consensus that the Board of Supervisors would benefit from a presentation of this data for its decision making, pursuant to Board direction on June 13, 2023, “Direct the Chief Administrative Office, Library, and Health and Human Services Agency to determine a recommended funding source and expansion plan for the Community Hubs to be presented to the Board at or before the April 2024 Budget Direction Presentation.”

The Board could choose not to hear the presentation.
