Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: The not-to-exceed amount of this Agreement is $150,000. There is no Net County Cost associated with this Agreement.

Compensation for Services: Payments are made to contractor based upon monthly invoicing at specified billing rates for actual services performed and documented per contract requirements. Services and rates are detailed in Exhibit C of the Agreement.

Reason for Recommendation: Milhous Children's Services is a Level 14 Group Home (i.e. the highest level), and provides support and supervision 24 hours per day. The funding for residential services is provided under a separate agreement between the vendor and the Department of Human Services. This contract provides for specialty mental health services to youth placed in this facility. Mental health services provided include Day Treatment - Intensive, Medication Support, Therapeutic Behavioral Services, Crisis Intervention, as well as individual and family therapy. The services requested by the Mental Health Division from Milhous are intended to keep youth out of higher and far more expensive levels of care.
