Grant funding in the amount of $2,175,000.00 from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service. There is no net cost to the County General Fund associated with this agenda item.
Background:
On February 22, 2010, the County of El Dorado (County) submitted a grant proposal to the USDA Forest Service under the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act (SNPLMA) Round 10 Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit to fund the following Erosion Control Projects located in the Tahoe Basin:

The funds require a one (1) to one (1) programmatic match, which the County will attain via existing California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC) funds already received and programmed, Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) mitigation funds received, and through the County's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program.
