Background:
Local Corrections agencies throughout California participate in the Standards and Training for Corrections Program operated by the State of California, Corrections Standards Authority.

CSA provides Counties and cities participating in the STC program subvention funding to aid them in meeting program standards. These departments must achieve compliance with the regulations by June 30 of each fiscal year. Participating counties and cities achieve full compliance if they follow the regulations for the selection and training of all STC eligible personnel.
