Health Services Department, Mental Health Division, recommending the Board authorize the Chair to sign Agreement 329-S1111 with Remi Vista, Inc., in the amount of $208,000 for the term March 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012 to provide specialty mental health services for seriously emotionally disturbed minors on an "as-requested" basis for said Department.
FUNDING: Medi-Cal/Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT), as well as Mental Health Realignment, as determined by the funding sources available and appropriate for each youth.

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There is no Net County Cost associated with this Agreement.
Background: Remi Vista, Inc., has been providing specialty mental health services to County youth for over five (5) years. Specialty mental health services provided by Remi Vista include assessments, case management, Therapeutic Behavioral Services, crisis intervention, as well as individual, group and family therapy. Remi Vista also maintains group home facilities in Redding for males aged 12 to 17.
Compensation for Services: Payments are made to Contractor based upon monthly invoicing at specified billing rates for actual services performed and documented per contract requirements. Services and rates are detailed in Exhibit B of the contract.
Contract Termination: This Agreement includes the County’s standard Fiscal Considerations termination language, as well as a provision for the County to terminate the Agreement without cause with seven (7) calendar days written notice.
