Background
In October of 2009 the County entered into a lease agreement with James Cole Beverly and Clayton Stephen Allison, doing business as PLA for the operation of a skateboard shop located at Joe's Skate Park located at 200 Armory Drive in Placerville (Legistar File 09-0960). The original lease was for a one (1) year term with two (2) one (1) year options to extend. At the end of the expiration of the lease, the owners of PLA moved to a month-to-month lease arrangement. The owners of PLA made a business decision to no longer operate the skateboard shop. The County executed a new lease agreement with Kelley Rogers, doing business as Hangtown Skate Shop on July 2, 2012 to keep the supervision and operations of the skate park intact. The lease allowed for a one (1) year term with options to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year terms
