Body
DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
Transportation Division (Transportation) is recommending the Board adopt this Resolution in order to streamline the Subdivision Improvements Agreement Amendment (Amendment) process. Once the amendment is prepared and approved by Transportation it will be delivered to the Board Clerk to obtain the Chair’s signature.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
It has been Transportation’s practice to bring to the Board a separate agenda item each time a Developer requests a one year extension. The listed one year performance period extensions will not impact the original bonds or change the conditions of approval; this Amendment’s sole purpose is to extend the performance period needed to complete the project. To improve efficiency and reduce staff time associated with multiple agenda items, Transportation proposes a single agenda item each year that consolidates all Amendments that may come before the Board in that calendar year if they are not completed. Other items that make more extensive changes to the Agreements will still be brought to the Board as individual agenda items.

ALTERNATIVES
Continue to process individual Amendments throughout the year, requiring additional staff time and cost versus the proposed process.

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
