Department of Transportation recommending the Board authorize the Chair to sign the Certificates of Acceptance for the following Grants of Temporary Construction Easement upon receipt from the Developer and approval by County Counsel:
1) Ethel A. Colwell, as Trustee of The Colwell Trust of July 18, 1989, for Assessor's Parcel Number 115-051-07;
2) Carlton C. Crystal and Wilma S. Crystal, as Trustees of The Crystal Family Trust of December 27, 1990, for Assessor's Parcel Numbers 115-080-02 and 102-220-04;
3) Carl E. Greenhalgh, as Trustee of The Greenhalgh Family Trust of March 27, 1997, for Assessor's Parcel Number 102-220-07; and
4) Essential Properties Group, Inc., a California Corporation, for Assessor's Parcel Number 115-410-05, all located in the Rescue area and necessary to accommodate the construction of Green Valley Road/Deer Valley Road West Intersection Improvements Project, CIP No. 76114.

Reason for Recommendation
The Department of Transportation (Department) received five Grants of Temporary Construction Easement from the subject property owners. The easements are required as a condition of approval for the Silver Springs Parkway Onsite Project 76107, and are necessary to accommodate the construction of Green Valley Road/Deer Valley Road West Intersection Improvements Project (Project). The subject properties are located at the intersection of Deer Valley Road and Green Valley Road in the Rescue area. The easements are more particularly described in Exhibits A and depicted in Exhibits B, which are attached to the Grants of Temporary Construction Easement.
Department staff reviewed the five Grants of Temporary Construction Easement and recommend that the Board authorize the Chair to sign the Certificates of Acceptance.
Action to be taken following Board approval
1. The Acting Clerk of the Board will obtain the Chair's signature on the Certificates of Acceptance for the five Grants of Temporary Construction Easement.
2. The Acting Clerk of the Board will send the Grants of Temporary Construction Easement and Certificates of Acceptance to the Recorder-Clerk's Office for recordation.
3. The Acting Clerk of the Board will forward a copy of the documents to the Department for further processing.
4. Copies of the recorded Grants of Temporary Construction Easement and Certificates of Acceptance will be sent to the property owners.
5. Certificates of correction, modification or amendment may be recorded by the Surveyor's office.
