DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
At their meeting of November 7, 2017 (Item 35) the Board approved several items related to salary and benefits for unrepresented employees, including the adoption of Resolution 167-2017 revising to the salary schedule in order to reassign the following classifications: Assistant CAO, Deputy CAO, Assistant Director of Finance & Administration, Chief Assistant County Counsel, Chief Budget Officer, Assistant Director of Community Development, Chief Assistant Director/HHSA and Mental Health Director from the ‘Unrepresented Department Head’ benefit status to ‘Unrepresented Management’, effective January 1, 2018; and for those employees whose benefit status i...
